Kansas City, Missouri
The Jenkins Music Company Building is a thin building located in the Power and Light District of Kansas City. What is seen today is the remnant of a much larger building, which was demolished in the 70s for the Town Pavilion parking garage.
After years of sitting vacant, 4th Street decided to pursue the redevelopment of this building into 15 unique apartments and ground floor retail space.
Learn more about this project below.
The Jenkins will consist of 15 luxury apartments designed to use space in a 3D sense (meaning that no space will go to waste here). With floor plates of only 1600 square feet, space is tight, but each apartment will be generous in square footage. 14 of the 15 units will be one-bedroom units of about 700sf each. The 9th floor will be a single unit with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a small office that can be used as a third bedroom.
All units will feature stainless steel appliances and custom cabinetry along with hardwood floors, tile in the bathrooms, and carpet in the bedrooms. Interior design will be a modern take on the Art Deco style. South facing units will also feature small walk-out balconies off the bedrooms while the 9th floor unit will have access to the rooftop, providing stunning views of the city.
Look for the Jenkins apartments to become available in the Winter of 2023. Stay up to date on project progress on our social media pages. Visit JenkinsKC.com to sign up for more information as it becomes available.
